Robert "Bryan" Clamp

Mr. Robert “Bryan” Clamp, 63, of Batesburg passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Sunday, June 28, 2026. He was born on February 6, 1963 in Columbia, South Carolina to the late Homer Bob and Rosetta Watson Clamp. Bryan worked for many years in the textile industry and later in construction as a carpenter. He was an avid outdoorsman, Bryan loved to deer hunt and go fishing. He enjoyed arrowhead hunting, tending to his garden, and woodworking.

Bryan is survived by his sons, Shane Robert Clamp and Channon Bryan Clamp; sisters, Marchelle Clamp Berry (Jimmy), Becky Clamp Cumbee (Ronnie), Dawn Clamp Craps (Dave), and Shawn Lillie Clamp; grandsons, Sawyer Ray Clamp, Forrest Channon Clamp, and Finley Owen McCrady Clamp; numerous nieces and nephews; and his beloved dogs, Possum and Wheezy. He was predeceased by his parents, Homer Bob and Rosetta Watson Clamp; paternal grandparents, John Jefferson and Lillie Oswald Clamp; and maternal grandparents, Molen Shuler and Rebecca McGee Watson.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Friday, July 3, 2026 at Bethlehem Baptist Church with the Rev. Russell Whittle officiating. Burial will follow at the Clamp Family Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service in the sanctuary. Serving as active pallbearers will be Leslie Rikard, Shannon Crapps, David Prior, David Lewis, Patrick Lewis, Dale Burgess, Brandon Cumbee, and Braylen Cumbee.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Clamp Family Cemetery Fund, 1008 Dixired Road, Leesville SC 29070. Barr-Price Funeral Home and Crematorium, Historic Batesburg-Leesville Chapel is assisting the Clamp family with arrangements.
