Robert "Bob" Ethridge

Robert “Bob” Louis Ethridge, 82, passed away on Friday, June 20, 2025. Originally from Warsaw, Kentucky; he was the son of the late of the late Benjamin and Christine Wilson Ethridge. Bob honorably served in the U.S. Air Force and was the founder of Capital Carolina Homes. He had a great sense of humor, never met a stranger and enjoyed story-telling. If you knew him well, you probably heard about his time in the Air Force, his love of flying, stories of his youth in Kentucky, and his funny stories about his grandkids. Bob loved his family and friends and will be greatly missed by all who knew him. He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and friend.

Surviving are his wife of 35 years, Janice Young Ethridge; sons, Rob Ethridge (Brandy) and Tim Ethridge (Gale); daughter, Amy Ethridge Bosch (Chris); step-daughters, Heather Ricard (John) and Monica Franklin (Brian); sister, Charlotte Ethridge; granddaughters, Sara Jones (Andrew), Kaylee Ethridge and Harper Bosch; grandsons, Wilder Ethridge (Jackie), Alex Ethridge (Maddie), Charlie Bosch, Joel Franklin, and Landon Franklin; and two great granddaughters.

He was predeceased by three brothers, and five sisters.

The service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Monday, June 23, 2025 at Barr-Price Funeral Home and Crematorium, Historic Batesburg-Leesville Chapel with the Rev. Steve Hendricks officiating. Burial will follow at Ridge Crest Memorial Park, Batesburg SC. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
