Robert A Porter

Robert A. Porter, 59, of Little Mountain passed away on August 30, 2019 after a courageous fight against colon cancer. A Memorial Service will be held 4:00 p.m. Monday, September 2, 2019 at St. Peter Lutheran Church (Piney Woods); 900 Dreher Island Road, Chapin, SC. Visitation will be held from 2:30-4:00 p.m. in the church fellowship hall. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to The SCOA Cares Foundation here and Hope Lodge at MUSC here.

Robert loved the outdoors and working with his hands. As an avid outdoorsman, he enjoyed hunting and fishing. Aside from spending time with his family, his favorite place to be was out in the field on the tractor.

He is survived by his parents; Robert "Coy" and Rosene Porter, wife; Susan Porter, daughters; Blythe (Tony) Biviano of Little Mountain, and Devin (David) Long of Swansboro, NC, grandchildren; Sydney and Carter Biviano, Ramsey and Righter Long, sister; Sheila (Ron) Farmer of Little Mountain, a nephew, nieces and grand-nieces.
