Robert Heil Obituary
Graveside services for Robert L. Heil, 90, will be conducted 11:00 am Saturday, October 16, 2021 at Sunset Hill Memorial Cemetery, North Augusta, SC. The family will receive friends following the graveside service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 6740, 950 Rock N Creek Rd., Leesville, SC 29070. Barr-Price Funeral Home and Crematorium, Historic B-L Chapel is assisting the family.
Mr. Heil went to be with the Lord Monday, October 11, 2021. Born in Marshfield, WI he was the son of the late Herbert L. and Ruth Taylor Heil. He was a Korean War Veteran, Past Commander of VFW Post 6740, and retired from civil service. Surviving are sons, Norman Perry Heil (Cheri), Herbert Clyde Heil (Susan), grandchildren, Matthew Heil (Kevin), William Heil, (Stacy), Andrew Heil (Sadia), great-grandchildren, Zara and Abe Heil, and a sister Karen Hager (Jim).
He was predeceased by his wife Evelyn K. Heil.
