He entered eternal rest on January 26, 2026, in his home in West Columbia, South Carolina, where he had resided for 30 years. Robert was a man of great character, known for his contagious laughter, resilient spirit, and an unwavering commitment to his family and friends.
Robert was a skilled contractor by profession, a trade he practiced with great passion and dedication. His work was a testament to his attention to detail, creativity, and relentless pursuit of perfection. Though he was not employed at the time of his passing, the legacy of his craftsmanship continues to add beauty and comfort to many homes and businesses.
Robert is survived by his beloved daughter, Samantha Malphrus, and his devoted parents, Thomas Malphrus and Mary Palmer. He was a loving father to Samantha, guiding her with wisdom and nurturing her with unconditional love. His parents, Thomas and Mary, remember him as a source of joy and pride, and his absence will leave an irreplaceable void in their hearts. As we remember and celebrate the life of Robert, we are reminded of his strength, kindness, and unwavering love for his family, virtues that will continue to inspire us all.
