Robert K Black

On Thursday, January 21, 2021 the one and only Robert Kleint Black (5 Star) passed away at his home surrounded by family. He was born in Cascade, Idaho and moved to South Carolina at the age of 3 years. Robbie had a successful career in auto mechanics. His interests included racing, loud music and aerospace technology. He enjoyed his simple life, while helping others. Robbie was preceded in death by his fathers’ Robert Greene and Floy Black and mother Karen Hodge. He is survived by his sisters Nicole Smith (Stuart) and Kendal Ringer (Hiram), stepmother Dorothy Black, stepfather Richard Hodge and nephews and niece, Zach and Cole Oswald, Madison and Connor Ringer.  Funeral services will be conducted Friday January 29, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. at St. James Lutheran Church (Summit).  Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Barr-Price Funeral Home, Historic B-L Chapel, is assisting the family. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. James Evangelical Lutheran Church,  308 Church Street, Leesville, South Carolina 29070.
