Ricky V. Shealy, 58, a devoted servant of God, loving husband, son, brother, uncle, father, and father-in-law, went home to be with the Lord on January 22, 2026 surrounded by love.
Ricky dedicated his life to sharing the Gospel and caring deeply for the people God placed in his path. His calling was not just a title, it was evident in the way he lived, loved, and led. He was a devoted fan of Star Trek, Star Wars, and the Clemson Tigers. A proud graduate of Liberty University, he built a meaningful career with Estes Freight Lines and serving faithfully as the senior pastor at Crossroads Baptist Church. Above all, he cherished his family. He was a steady presence, a source of strength, and a man of integrity whose faith shaped his home as much as it shaped his ministry.
Ricky is survived by his beloved wife, Kim Shealy; his son, Thomas (Katelyn) Shealy; his father, Edward Shealy; his sisters, Christina Reynolds and Stephanie (Mitch) Cameron; his father-in-law, Hardin Wrenn; his mother-in-law, Jane Wrenn; his sister-in-law, Beth Wrenn; his aunt, Peggy Shaw; his cousin, Sherry (Ben) Casselman; his nieces and nephews, Brianna (Timothy) Antley, Matthew Reynolds, Corey (Acacia) Cameron, Abigail Cameron and Kayla Wrenn; his great nieces and nephews, Callan, Bobbie June and Fallon; and their cherished dog, Elle.
He was predeceased by his mother, Donna Shealy; and grandmother, Myrtle Spoon.
Funeral service will be held 2:00 p.m. Thursday, January 29, 2026 at Barr-Price Funeral Home and Crematorium, Lexington Chapel. Burial will follow at Southland Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 12:00-1:45p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
