Ricky Howard Long

A Celebration of Life for Ricky Howard Long, 67, will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Saturday, April 10, 2021 at his home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Wittenberg Lutheran Church, 233 N. Lee St., Leesville, SC 29070 or the March of Dimes, 240 Stoneridge Dr. #206, Columbia, SC 29210.  Barr-Price Funeral Home and Crematorium, Historic B-L Chapel is assisting the family.

  Mr. Long passed Sunday, March 28, 2021.  Born in Lexington County, he was a son of the Gerald William Long Sr. and Joyce Anderson Surrett. He was a member of Wittenberg Lutheran Church and retired from Michelin Tire. He retired from the B-L Fire Department, also serving with B-L Rescue and was a Red Cross Instructor for 14 years. He was a devoted member of the March of Dimes as well as a member of the B-L Masonic Lodge

  Surviving are his daughter, Sara Long; his father and stepmother, Letha Long, his mother, brothers, Billy Long, Jeff Long, Gregg Long, and Scott Long.
