Rickey "Red" Smith

Rickey “Red” Smith, 68, passed away Wednesday, August 6, 2025 at Lexington Medical Center. He was the son of the late Charlie D. Smith and Lois McCarty Smith. A private service will be held at a later date. Memorial can be made to St. Judes Children’s Hospital. Mr. Smith was a propane worker and loved hunting and fishing with his buddies.

Surviving are his spouse, Nancy Smith, daughter Karen Marie Smith, son in law Richard Nathan Iriel,  sisters, Brenda Kay Corder (Pig), Janis Peters (Joe), Nancy Matthews (Lynn), sister-in-law, Noritta Smith, and numerous nieces and nephews and even great nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his daughter, Vickey Smith Iriel and a brother, Wendell Smith.
