Rhonda Elizabeth Copeland

Rhonda Elizabeth Copeland, 78, passed away on Saturday, March 21, 2026. Born in Lexington County, she was a Daughter of the late William Woodrow and Willie O. Smith Moore. Rhonda also retired from Lexington District 4 as a cafeteria worker.

She is survived by her son, Joseph Copeland (Amanda), Son-in-law, Charlie Young, daughter-in-law, Kristina Copeland, grandchildren; Charles Alex Young, Billy Young, Colin Copeland (Emily), Sara Copeland, Ben Agostini, JoLyn Copeland, Hannah Copeland and Jojo Copeland, as well as several great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Rhonda was predeceased by her husband, Gerald “Boodie” Copeland, son, Todd Copeland, and daughter, Angela Young.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 28, 2026 at 1:00 pm at Sharon’s Crossroad United Methodist Church. The family will receive friends following the memorial service. Barr-Price Funeral Home and Crematorium, Historic Batesburg-Leesville Chapel is assisting the family with arrangements.
