Ramona B. Long

Ramona Belt Long, 63, passed away on Wednesday, March 26, 2025. A devoted mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, Ramona lived a life of service, hard work, and love. She touched many lives with her kindness, generosity, and unwavering commitment to those around her.

Born in Holland, Michigan, she was the daughter of the late Larry G. Belt Sr. She is survived by her loving children, Abby Jeanette Long (Ashley Rikard), Evan Belt (M.J.), Jeffery P. Long Jr. (Crystal), and Brandon A. Long (Meagan); her cherished grandchildren, Kaylee and Colson Belt, Greyson Rikard, Lindsay, EllieClaire, Kennedy, and Bennett Long; her brothers, Michael and Marcus Belt; her sister, Angela Sharpe (Boyce); and a special friend she loved as a son, Brennen Scott. She was predeceased by her beloved son, James P. Long, and her brother, Larry Belt Jr.

The family will receive friends on Friday from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Barr-Price Funeral Home and Crematorium, Historic Batesburg-Leesville Chapel.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Brennen Scott Educational Fund, a cause close to Ramona’s heart.

Ramona’s legacy of love, strength, and kindness will continue to live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
