Mrs. Phyllis Hall Hall, 87, of Leesville passed away peacefully on Wednesday, May 13, 2026 at home surrounded by her family. She was born on November 15, 1938 in Leesville, South Carolina to the late Homer and Elizabeth Burgess Hall. Phyllis worked in the textile industry where she retired from Hartwell Industries with over 30 years of service. Following her retirement, she worked as a custodian at Gilbert High School for over 9 years. Phyllis had a special love for her flowers, going shopping, and eating out. She cherished her children, especially her grandchildren. Phyllis was also a member of Providence Baptist Church until her health declined. She was a loving wife, mother, grand grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend.
Surviving are her son, James B. Hall, Jr. (Becky); daughter, Sharon Long (Billy); brothers, Wyman Hall (Betty Jane) and Tony Hall (Kathy); grandchildren, Hilary Hall, Brandon Long, Bryce Long, and Brad Long; step-grandchildren, Eric Craps and Haley Craps; step-grandson, Justin Craps; great-grandchildren, Waverly Hall, Kellan Hall, Keegan Long, Eliza Long, Grayson Long, Norah Long, Aiden Long, Ford Long and Hallace Long; step-greatgrandchildren, Ellie Craps, Bella Craps, and Kayson Brock; and many nieces and nephews. Phyllis was predeceased by her husband, James B. “JB” Hall, Sr.; brothers, Marvin Hall, Vondee Hall, and Virdee Hall; and sisters, Doris Snipes and Nell Fox.
Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Friday, May 15, 2026 at Christ the Good Shepherd Mausoleum – Ridge Crest Memorial Park with the Rev. David Edenfield officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, P.O. Box 96011, Washington, DC 20090-6011. Barr-Price Funeral Home and Crematorium, Historic Batesburg-Leesville Chapel is assisting the Hall family with arrangements.
