Pauline Lewis Obituary

Pauline N. Lewis, beloved mother and grandmother, passed away peacefully on Monday, December 14, 2020.  A Celebration of life service will be held at a later date.  Barr-Price Funeral Home and Crematorium, Lexington Chapel, has assisted the family.

Pauline was born January, 18, 1932 to the late George W. and Sally Hand Norris of Alma, GA.  She was predeceased by her husband of 68 years, Carlton Lewis; her brothers, Pete Norris, Wilbert Norris, G.W. Norris, Frank Norris, Jimmy Norris, and Woodrow Norris; and her sisters, Lucille Gouge, and Florence Dixon.

She is survived by her two sons, Elton Dale Lewis (Becky), and David M. Lewis (Emily); four grandchildren, Jenny Adams (Keith), Frankie Lewis, Caleb Lewis (Blake), and Caitlin Lewis; and three great grandchildren, Keegan and Kinleigh Lewis, and Clay Bashlor.

Pauline had a vibrant passion for life. She loved fishing, bowling, cooking, and grocery shopping, and caring for others. Her banana pudding was everyone’s favorite. She was a beloved aunt to all of her nieces, nephews, and their children. She enjoyed caring for her animals, feeding the birds, and working in her yard. Her “fun-loving” spirit will be greatly missed here on earth, but we have peace knowing that she is happily reunited with her loved ones in Heaven, and that we will see her again one day.
