Paula J. Keen

Services for Paula J. Keen, 73, will be conducted 5:00 p.m. Wednesday September 3, 2025 at Mt. Ebal Baptist Church with the Rev. Bill Paulling officiating.  The family will receive friends beginning at 3:30 p.m. prior to the service at the church. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Mt. Ebal Baptist Church, 5 Lions Loop, Batesburg SC 29006 or to Riverbanks Zoo, 500 Wildlife Parkway, Columbia SC 29210.  Barr-Price Funeral Home and Crematorium, Historic Batesburg-Leesville Chapel is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Keen passed away Sunday, August 31, 2025. Born in Hobart, Indiana, she was a daughter of the late Carl A. and Dorothy B. Kusher Carlson. She was a member of Mt. Ebal Baptist Church and retired from Hartwell.

Surviving are her daughters, Cathy Anders (Greg), Michelle McGee, and Becca Copenhaver (Sean), brothers, Eddie Carlson and Phillip Carlson, sister, Harriett St. Germain, 9 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Michael P. Keen and a son-in-law, Mike McGee.
