Paul Ray Keisler, 83, of Lexington, South Carolina, passed away on April 14th, 2024. Born on May 13th, 1940 in Lexington, South Carolina to Carl and Myrtle Keisler, Paul was a loving and dedicated husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather. His determination and reliability were evident in every aspect of his life, from his thoughtful interactions with his family to his commitment to his business.
Paul was the proud owner of Keisler's Wrecker Service and a retired employee of the United States Postal Service. His dedication to his work was paralleled only by his devotion to his passions, which included restoring old cars and being a longtime and active booster member of the Lexington High School Marching Band. He was a charter member of the Jamil Shrine Temple and a member of the Lexington Masonic Lodge #152. What mattered most to Paul was his family. He is survived by his wife, Josephine Keisler; his sons, Ray (Tina) Keisler, Brian Keisler; his daughter, Amy (Chris) Clamp; his step-daughters, Mary (Richard) Houtz and Kathy (Jeremy) Duppstadt; his step-sons, John (Karen) Mason and Patrick (Debra) Mason; his brother, James (Joann) Keisler, niece Becky (Jimmy) Padgett; his granddaughters, Christa and Ashlyn Clamp; and his great-grandsons, Bayde and Crosson Clamp. He was predeceased by his parents, and his brother, Carl William Keisler.
A memorial service will be held at St. Matthews Lutheran Church, 1273 Calks Ferry Road, Lexington, South Carolina, 29072 on Saturday, April 20th, 2024, at 3:00 pm. Services are under the direction of Barr-Price Funeral Home, Lexington Chapel.
Paul's life was filled with love and dedication for those he loved. His thoughtful spirit will be missed by all who knew him.
