Patricia Ann Dowdy

Ms. Dowdy was a beloved daughter, sister, and good friend. She is survived by her brother, Edward Dowdy; and her much loved cat, Tua. Ms. Dowdy was a retired registered nurse who worked for the State, she was a member of St. Andrews Baptist Church and an avid Gamecock fan, especially the women's basketball team. She enjoyed her Sunday School  class, Bible study, reading, loved animals and flowers and watching The Young and the Restless.

Patricia Ann Dowdy, was born on July 23, 1953, in Aiken, South Carolina to the late Vernon and Lucille Williamson Dowdy. Her journey on earth came to a close on December 30, 2025, while residing in Lexington, South Carolina, where she had lived for the past three years.

A memorial service will be held 1:00 pm Tuesday, January 6, 2026 at Barr-Price Funeral Home and Crematorium, Lexington Chapel with Pastor Jace Broadhurst officiating. The family will receive friends from 12pm (Noon) to 1pm prior to the service at the funeral home.
