Neal Tindall, of Lexington, passed away on September 15, 2025. He was born on November 2, 1946, in Orangeburg, SC. He was a respected figure in the construction industry, where he served as a Superintendent with Sumwalt Construction Company for 40+ years until his retirement. He served diligently and proudly as an Army Veteran for 4 years in Vietnam. Known for being an avid outdoorsman, Neal enjoyed fishing, hunting, raising guinea and chickens. An all around “Ninja” in disguise.
Neal is survived by his loving wife and partner of 42 years, Linda; his sister, Joanne (Butch); two sons, Mike (Sherry) and Jeff; two step-children, Chad (Kelsey) and Tina Taylor; seven grandchildren, Orchid, James, Tyra, Haley, Isaac, Leo and Reina; one great grand-daughter Anastasia many loving nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his dear parents Annie & Carl; four brothers and two sisters.
A special thanks to his niece, Connie, for the devoted time she spent with Neal. Also a special thanks to Lutheran Hospice for their care and support.
A visitation will be held on Friday, September 19, 2025, at 1:00 pm at Barr-Price Funeral Homes & Crematorium, 609 Northwood Road, Lexington, South Carolina, 29072. A graveside service will follow at 3:00pm at Southland Memorial Gardens, 700 West Dunbar Road, West Columbia, South Carolina, 29170. Services are under the direction of Barr-Price Funeral Homes & Crematorium.
