Nina Gantt Gates, born on April 4, 1947 in Columbia, South Carolina, passed away on June 30, 2025. She resided in Lexington, South Carolina, and was known for her dedicated service as an Executive Assistant at SC Public Service Commission. She was a Member of Northside Baptist Church.
Nina is survived by her son, Tony Starnes (Cheryle), daughter, Leah Starnes, her brother, Richard "Ricky" Gantt, and her sisters Mary Price (Wynne), Rebecca "Becky" Latimore (Cliff), 8 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Letroy and Nellie Gantt.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 6, 2025, at 3:00pm at Barr-Price Funeral Homes & Crematorium, located at 609 Northwood Road, Lexington, South Carolina, 29072. The service will follow at the same location at 4:00pm EDT.
