Nicole Danell Williamson Obituary

Nicole Danell Williamson was born on May 30, 1975, in Brooklyn, New York, to Frances Williamson and the late SA Williamson. She departed this life on Monday, July 6, 2026, at the age of 51 at Northside Hospital Forsyth in Cumming, Georgia.

Nicole was educated in the public schools of Brooklyn, New York, and later moved to South Carolina, where she graduated from Batesburg-Leesville High School with the Class of 1993. She went on to earn a Bachelor of Science degree in Graphic Design from The Art Institute of Pittsburgh. A gifted graphic designer, Nicole used her creativity and artistic talents to inspire others through her work.

Nicole was also a true warrior. She courageously battled cancer for the past six years with unwavering strength, faith, grace, and determination, serving as an inspiration to everyone who knew and loved her. The family extends its heartfelt gratitude to the compassionate physicians, nurses, and staff of Georgia Cancer Specialists in Johns Creek, Georgia, for the exceptional care, kindness, and support they provided throughout Nicole's journey.

The family also extends its deepest appreciation to Nicole's devoted "village" of supporters. Your prayers, encouragement, acts of kindness, and steadfast love carried her and our family through the most difficult moments. You know who you are, and we are forever grateful. We love you all.

She was preceded in death by her father, SA Williamson; two sisters, Michelle Williams and Lisa Gaffney.

Nicole leaves to cherish her precious memories: her loving mother, Frances Williamson of Batesburg, South Carolina; her daughter, Brazil Williamson of Atlanta, Georgia; her son, London Williamson of Atlanta, Georgia; one cherished granddaughter, Meadow Sofia of Atlanta, Georgia, who lovingly knew her as “NoNo” and held a very special place in her heart; one brother, Mack A. (Colette) Williams, Jr. of Lexington, South Carolina; four sisters, Deborah Gilmore of Rock Hill, South Carolina, Wanda Williams of Batesburg, South Carolina, Monique Williamson of Hampton, Virginia, and Veronica (Garcia) Gates of Batesburg, South Carolina; her Godmother, Queen S. Harvey of Aiken, South Carolina; two special mothers, Ruth Quattlebaum of Covington, Georgia, and Wessie “Ree” Etheredge of Mount Vernon, New York; along with a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and dear friends who will forever cherish her memory.
