Nicholas "Nick" Kenneth Hendrix

Nicholas Kenneth Hendrix, 25, passed away on Sunday November 12, 2023. He was born on December 17, 1997 in West Columbia, SC to Kenneth Hendrix and Tara Fulmer. He attended Gilbert Schools where he was a standout athlete starring in football, basketball, and baseball.

He is survived by his parents, Kenneth Hendrix (Christina Nieves) and Tara Johnson (Tim); daughter, Kourtlynn Grace Hendrix; grandparents Henry Wilder (Rita Alexander) and Vera Quattlebaum; great- grandparents Louis Wilder and Frances Hendrix; Siblings, Zachery Matthews, Natalia Raysor, Kemara Hendrix, Kentaria Hendrix, Donmetries Howell, Adriana Ludley, Kenzaria Hendrix, Emonie Lever, Emonie Padgett, Ayden Johnson-Hendrix; 21 uncles, 22 aunts, and numerous cousins that he loved more like siblings.

At heaven’s gate to welcome him home were his great-grandparents James (Jake) Hendrix, Bertha Wilder, Wilbur Fulmer, Toye Fulmer, John Hite, and Jane Hite. Grandparents Carroll Fulmer and Lynn Fulmer; 17 uncles, 6 aunts, along with several cousins.

Funeral Service will be conducted 1:00 P.M. Saturday, November 18, 2023 at Barr-Price Funeral Home and Crematorium, Historic Batesburg-Leesville Chapel with burial to follow at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church Priceville Road Cemetery, Gilbert SC. The family will receive friends on Friday, November 17, 2023 from 5:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
