Nancy Leonard Hutto

Nancy Leonard Hutto, 58, died October 24th, 2019 at her home in West Columbia, SC after battling metastatic breast cancer. Her funeral service will be held Tuesday, October 29, 2019 at 6:00 p.m. at Barr-Price funeral home in Lexington, SC with Pastor Russ Stilwell officiating the service with a visitation to follow. All relatives and friends are welcome to the service.

Ms. Hutto was born on September 1st, 1961 in Bethesda, Maryland. Nancy was predeceased by her parents, William and Sarah Leonard, and her brother, Michael Leonard. She lived in Jacksonville, Florida during her childhood before settling in West Columbia, SC. Nancy enjoyed giving back to the community through blood drives and volunteering at church events. She stayed active and involved with her church and had a strong faith in God. Her bible was always with her and she enjoyed reading and sharing favorite scriptures with others.

Nancy will be remembered by her family and friends as a person that relied heavily on her faith and enjoyed giving to others and never wanting anything in return.

She is survived by her daughter, Veronica (Craig) Cargile of West Columbia, SC and her brother, Jon Leonard of West Columbia, SC, as well as Uncle and Aunt, Jimmy and Betty Courtney of West Columbia, SC.
