Myrtle Viviano

Memorial services for Myrtle Viviano, 97, will be conducted 3:00 p.m. Wednesday at Barr-Price Funeral Home and Crematorium, Historic Batesburg-Leesville Chapel with the Rev. Peter Morey officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the Connie Maxwell Children’s Home, 810 Maxwell Ave., Greenwood SC 29646. 

Mrs. Viviano passed away Saturday, December 6, 2025. Born in Johnston, she was a daughter of the late Archie Lewis and Eva Myrtle Pruitt Hart and was a retired caregiver. She was married to the late Frank Viviano of Yonkers, NY where they resided.

She is the beloved mother of Katherine V. Chaplin of Columbia, SC, Barry F. Viviano of Columbia, SC, Thomas Viviano (Paula) of Cortlandt Manor, NY, Gaye Hartley (Mike) of Summit, and Jamie Campbell (Chris) of Summerville, SC. She was the loving grandmother of 12 grandchildren and great-grandmother of 10 great-great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.  She was predeceased by her daughter, Janis V. Thompson (Dennis), grandson, Zachariah Chaplin, sisters, Pauline L. Hart, Grace H. Quattlebaum (Sam), and Mary K. Abney (Leroy).
