Myrtle Lee Goss

Batesburg-Leesville-Graveside services for Myrtle Lee Goss, 94, will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Saturday at Ridge Crest Memorial Park with Beverly Taylor officiating.  The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Friday at Barr-Price Funeral Home and Crematorium, Historic Batesburg-Leesville Chapel.  Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, Attn: B-L Relay for Life, 200 Center Point Circle, Suite 100, Columbia SC 29210. 

Mrs. Goss passed away Wednesday, October 30, 2019.  Born in Williamsburg County, she was a daughter of the late Lewis Dillon and Pearl Patrick Rodgers.  She was a member of East Side Baptist Church and was the owner-operator of Talkers and Toddlers Day Care “Goss.”
Surviving are a daughter, Iris G. Gunter; grandchildren, Robbin (Chris) Swygert, Chris (Jessica) Gunter, Heidi (Michael) Riordan, Laura Rikard (Kenneth Bogert), and Jamie Gunter; 8 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild.

She was predeceased by her husband, Ira Goss; daughter and son-in-law, Janie G. (Benjie) Rikard, son-in-law, Mike Gunter, 3 brothers and 5 sisters.
