Mildred Ann Perry Amick

Mildred Ann Perry Amick, 80, of West Columbia, SC, passed away on Saturday, July 26, 2025.  Born in Richland County, SC on January 28, 1945, she was the daughter of the late Clent Wilson Perry and Margaret Alma Ernest Perry. 

She was the wife of the late Gerald C. Amick, with whom she shared more than 55 years of marriage.
 
Mildred graduated from Brookland-Cayce High School.  She worked at Pineridge Elementary School, later known as Wood Elementary School where she retired with over 30 years of service.

Those left to cherish her memory are her loving children, son Gerald Dean Amick (Frankie), and daughter Sandy Amick Roland (David); grandchildren, Clint Amick, Kayla Amick, Boogie Errickson (Sam),  Justin Roland, Jessica Gill, Jonathan Roland, Jordyn Gill, Jacob Roland; great-grandchildren, Easton Smith, Colt Errickson, Eliza Errickson, Paisly Errickson, Hank Errickson and Brynlee Errickson; brothers, Jimmy (Kay) Perry and Don Perry, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.  

A memorial service for Mrs. Amick will be held at 1:30 p.m., Wednesday, July 30, 2025  at Barr-Price Funeral Home, 609 Northwood Road, Lexington, S. C. 29072.  Burial will follow at Southland Memorial Gardens at 3:00 p.m., located at 700 West Dunbar Road, West Columbia, S. C. 29170.

The family will greet friends on Tuesday, July 29, 2025, from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m., at Barr-Price Funeral Home, Lexington Chapel.
