Mike Temples

Mr. Michael Albert “Mike” Temples, 57, passed away on Saturday February 14, 2026. He was born on August 2, 1968 in Lexington County, South Carolina to the late Albert and Lula Mae Smith Temples. Mike worked in the construction industry, where he was a jack of all trades. He loved woodworking, and working on cars and trucks. Mike was also a member for Old Samaria Baptist Church. 

Surviving are his wife, Rose Temples; sister, Teresa Metts (Ronald), and niece, Lisa Metts. He was predeceased by his daughter, Niki Temples; and brothers, Charlie Temples and Robert “Frog” Temples.

Graveside services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, February 21, 2026 at Halltown Cemetery with the Rev. Starrett Hall and the Rev. Dr. Stephen Gantt will officiate. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to a charity of one’s choice.

Barr-Price Funeral Home and Crematorium, Historic Batesburg-Leesville Chapel is assisting the Temples family with arrangements.
