Mike F Shuler

GASTON - Michael Fredrick Shuler, 59, passed away from a heart attack on Thursday, November 15, 2018 in his home. Survived by his wife Beverly Shuler, his children by his first wife Holly, Andrew Shuler and Carmen Patton, Beverly's children whom he loved as his own, Shannon Smith (Rick) and Bryan Miles (Amber), his brother Rick Shuler (Gwen), niece Shelly and nephew Shane (Kristen) and his brother-in-law, Mike Shockley. He was blessed with fourteen grandchildren and he adored each and every one of them.

Born September 26, 1959 in Columbia SC, he was preceded in death by both of his parents, Fredrick (2007) and Barbara Shuler (2016).
Mike was a successful businessman. He was a beloved coach at Midlands Dixie Youth baseball field (Pine Ridge) 1990-1998. He grew up skiing with friends and family at his parents Jake's Landing lake house, raced motocross with his brother Ricky, best friend Jamie Addy and many others. He never lost his sense of adventure, taking his extended family and friends for rides on everything from a WWII Jeep to Tractors, Trucks, 4- wheelers, and Jet Skis. He could fix anything. He was a hero, willing to help anyone in need, no matter the circumstances.
He met the love of his life, wife Beverly, in 2001 and they rarely left each others side, blending their families and creating life long memories. Their house was always open to friends and family in Gaston, SC.

All who knew our beloved are welcome to say their goodbyes and share their stories at his Memorial service to be held on Tuesday, November 20, 2018 @ 6:00pm at Barr-Price Funeral Home, 609 Northwood Rd., Lexington, SC 29072.
