Michael Todd Bedenbaugh, 59, of Leesville passed away early Tuesday morning, March 31, 2026 at Lexington Medical Center. He was born May 26, 1966, in Columbia, SC, a son of Nicki B. Oswald and the late Buddy Bedenbaugh. Todd worked at South Carolina Pole and Piling for over 25 years as a loader operator. He was a loving father, grandfather, uncle, family man, motorcycle rider and car enthusiast. He was a proud alumni of the Batesburg-Leesville Panthers and a friend to many.
He is survived by his wife, Angie Bedenbaugh, two daughters; Cassie (Sam Titus II) and Carrie Bedenbaugh, granddaughter; Peytann Bedenbaugh; mother, Nicki Oswald; step-father, Jim Oswald; step-brother, Troy Oswald, sister; Kim Waters, brother-in-law; Tracy Waters, nephews and nieces; Brandon and Katie Bedenbaugh, Jordanne Clamp, Nickolas Waters, Stephanie Bedenbaugh, Kolton Bedenbaugh and Renee Jumper Waters, along with many cousins, extended family and friends who will miss him dearly. He was preceded in death by his father, Buddy Bedenbaugh, his brother, Bill (Tub) Bedenbaugh, grandmother, Ella-Mae Swygert, grandparents, Benny and Christine Faulkner, and aunts; Teresa Oswald and Nancy Wooten.
A service to honor Todd’s life will be held on Friday, April 3, 2026 at 3:00 P.M. at Barr-Price Funeral Home Historic B-L Chapel with a visitation to follow with family and friends. A special note from the family: If you would like, all are encouraged to wear garnet and black in honor of Todd.
