Michael "Mike" Turner

Michael “Mike” James Turner, 65, passed away on Friday, February 13, 2026. He was born on January 4, 1961 in Charlotte, North Carolina to the late Bobby James and Maxine Carpenter Turner. Mike worked with Cummins as an account executive for many years. As a man of faith, he was a member of Lake Murray Baptist Church. Mike was an avid outdoorsman, loving to hunt and fish. He was a member of Cast Your Faith Bass Club, and the Ponderosa Country Club. Mike found joy in watching his grandchildren play baseball and traveling to band competitions.

Surviving are his wife, Lisa Goff Turner; sons, Jay Hallman (Misty), and Matthew Hallman (Victoria); sisters, Debbie Doty (Les), Karen West, and Teresa Lindler; grandchildren, Easton Hallman, Braydon Hallman, Korbyn Hallman, Carmine Hallman, Xavier Hallman, and Manny Bright; and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a sister, Cindy Elliott.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Friday, February 20, 2026 at Barr-Price Funeral Home and Crematorium, Historic Batesburg-Leesville Chapel with the Rev. David Bennett and Beverly Taylor officiating. Burial will follow at Ridge Crest Memorial Park. Serving as active pallbearers will be Gavin Parrish, Brian Wilson, Scott West, Travis Parrish, Nick Elliott, Cain Boozer, and Barret Boozer. The family will receive friends on Thursday, February 19, 2026 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association, P.O.
