Michael "Mike" Anthony Gray

Michael Anthony Gray of Lexington, SC husband of Peggy Roberts Gray entered into eternal rest on November 29, 2025.  Mr. Gray was born in Brevard, NC and moved to Pickens, SC at the age of 15.  He was the son of the late Billy Charles Gray of Las Cruces, NM and the late Wilda W. Gray originally from Brevard, NC and made her home in Pickens, SC. He retired from the SC Department of Revenue after 25 1/2 years of service.  He served on the City of Pickens Recreation board and the County of Pickens Recreation board.  He later moved to Lexington, SC with his wife of 39 years and was a member of Faith Lutheran Church in West Columbia.
Survivors include his wife; son, Michael Brett Gray of Greer, SC; brother, Charles Gray (wife, Debbie); and nephew, Micah Gray of Las Cruces, NM.
Funeral services will be 1:00 pm Friday, December 5, 2025 at Celestial Memorial Gardens, Mausoleum Chapel with Pastor Mark Bredholt officiating.  Interment will follow at Celestial Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Faith Lutheran Church, 1717 Platt Springs Road, West Columbia, SC  29169. Barr-Price Funeral Home and Crematorium, Lexington Chapel is assisting the family.
