Michael Glenn Elkins

Leesville-Memorial Service for Michael G. Elkins, 57, will be conducted 1:00 p.m. Wednesday at Grace Lutheran Church 401 Main Street, Gilbert, SC with the Rev. Judson Merrell officiating.  The family will receive friends following the service.  Barr-Price Funeral Home and Crematorium, Historic B-L Chapel is in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Elkins passed away Thursday, April 22, 2021. Born in Columbia, he is a son of Glenn Mathew Elkins and the late Joanne Maggie Norton Elkins.  He was the owner/operator of Dixie Ridge Growers and was a member of Grace Lutheran Church. Michael loved the Lord and his family, was also an avid hunter/fisherman, and was the Clemson Tigers #1 fan.

Surviving are his wife, Kelly Smith Elkins; his father; children, Kayla Elkins-Cooper (Justin) and Ryan Elkins (Amanda); grandchildren, Morgan and Dean; sisters, Susan Hux (Lee) and Cynthia Palmer (Tom).
