Michael Edwin Brasher

Graveside services for Michael Brasher, 78, will be held 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, July 5, 2022 at Fort Jackson National Cemetery.

Mr. Brasher passed away June 25, 2022. Born in Los Angeles, CA, he was the son of the late Walter H. and Nancy Collins Brasher. He worked for Sears for 16 years doing commercial industrial refrigeration. Following that, he served in the US Army where he was stationed in Germany and worked on the guidance system for the Persian Missile. Mr. Brasher later owned and operated Marina Motel and Tackle in Stigler, OK for over 40 years. He was a man of all skills and trades. He enjoyed classic cars and often times built dragsters to race.

He is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Imogene Brasher; son, Shawn Brasher (Tracy); and grandchildren, Samantha and Courtney Brasher.

He was predeceased by his sister, Daryl-Gene Phillips.
