Matthias Dimick Obituary

Our cherished baby boy, Matthias Paul Dimick, passed away on October 24, 2025, at the Texas Children's Hospital. Matthias was born on January 25, 2025, to Kyle and Raelin Dimick.

Matthias loved his parents and adored his brother, Silas. He loved going to church, the park, cars & coffee, and listening to music. He enjoyed playing peek-a-boo with his friends & family members, crunching paper, playing under blanket forts, and looking at flip books.

Silas made Matthias laugh all the time. Matthias liked bath time and snuggling with mom & dad. He started saying words like “mama” and “da”. His smile brightened everyone’s day when he met them. He smiled all the time and had the most beautiful blue eyes, and strawberry blond hair.

Matthias will forever be remembered and loved by his parents, Kyle and Raelin; his brother, Silas; grandparents, Jeremy Dimick, Joshua and Jennifer Lacaria; great grandparents, Donald and Violet Sandstrom, Lorie Ann Crawford, Robert and Cheryl Ann Richards, and Anthony Joseph Lacaria; great- great grandfather, Okey Marshall Richards; aunt, Eva Lacaria and uncle, Seth Dimick.

Matthias was preceded in death by his grandmother, Valerie Dimick.

Even though Matthias only spent a short amount of time with us, he was immensely loved and brought immeasurable joy & laughter to those around him.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00am Saturday, November 8 at Revival Baptist Church, 1165 Old Barnwell Road in West Columbia, SC and officiated by Pastor Joshua Lawson and Preacher Kyle Dimick.
