Mason Alexander Shealy

Mason Alexander Shealy, 14, of Loris passed away peacefully on Thursday, July 30, 2026. He was born on June 16, 2012 in Greenwood, South Carolina to Donnie Jeff Shealy and the late Lori Ann Mize. Mason was an 8th grade student that enjoyed school, playing video games, listening to K-Love Radio and reading his Bible.  

Surviving are his father, Donnie Shealy; brothers, Ethan Elder and Brandon Shealy; sister, Amethyst Legend Layne Huckabee; and grandmother, Cathy Mize. Mason was predeceased by his mother, Lori Ann Mize; sisters, Adalyn Mize and Makennah Williamson; paternal grandmother, Judy Amerson Preston; paternal grandfather, John Henry Shealy; maternal grandfather, Brian Mize; aunt, Jassica Bouknight; and uncle, Wesley Shealy.

A memorial service will be conducted 5:00 p.m. Saturday, August 8, 2026 at Forgiven Baptist Church, 713 Edmond Highway, West Columbia SC 29172. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Forgiven Baptist Church or a charity of one’s choice. Barr-Price Funeral Home and Crematorium, Historic Batesburg-Leesville Chapel is assisting the Shealy family with arrangements.
