Mary Elizabeth "Libby" Moore

Mary Elizabeth “Libby” Moore, 75, of Lexington, South Carolina, passed away peacefully on September 28, 2025. Mary was born on February 14, 1950, in Columbia, South Carolina, to James and Doris Moore.

Libby spent a fulfilling career as a beautician, enhancing the lives of others through her work in the beauty industry. After spending her early years in Columbia, she moved to Lexington, where she became a beloved member of the community for over 30 years. Libby’s resilient spirit and warm nature allowed her to lead a life filled with love and compassion. Her retirement years were spent in cherished tranquility, reflecting the peace she brought into the lives of those she loved.

Libby is survived by her devoted sister, Sheron Moore Cascio (James Cascio) and brother, Jimmy Moore (Denise Moore); two nieces, Michelle Cascio Schultz (Kevin Schultz) and Jessica Cascio Howell (Michael Howell); two nephews, Colie Moore (Brandy Moore) and Michael Moore (Ashley Moody); three great nieces, Emily, Haley and Lyra; four great nephews, Tyler (Courtney), Jacob, Jace, Duncan; three step-great nephews, Clay, Coby and Liam; one great-great niece, Abigail; two great-great nephews, Brice and Hunter.

Libby is predeceased by her parents, James and Doris Moore. Libby will be remembered for her infectious laughter, kind heart, and the joy she brought to others. Her memory will forever be etched in the hearts of those who had the privilege of knowing her.
