Mary Elizabeth Greene Roberts, 83, passed peacefully May 2, 2026, at her home in Lexington. Known affectionately as Meg, she was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was known for her abounding energy and zest for life, and she never tired of a chance to be with friends and family. Meg truly was a people person, always seeing the best in everyone.
Meg enjoyed spending time at her beloved mountain home in Whittier, North Carolina, prior to her declining health. It was here she found her true peace.
