Martha Rose Black Shealy

Memorial services for Martha Rose Black Shealy, 81, will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Thursday, September 11, 2025 at Faith Lutheran Church with the Rev. Lisa Isenhower officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church. Burial will follow at Ridge Crest Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Faith Lutheran Church 113 N. Oak Street B-L, SC 29006. Barr-Price Funeral Home and Crematorium, Historic Batesburg-Leesville Chapel is assisting the family with arrangements.

Mrs. Shealy passed away Monday, September 8, 2025. Born in Batesburg, SC she was the daughter of the late O’Neal Brunson and Irolla Horne Black. She was a member of Faith Lutheran Church and retired from Lexington School District #3.

Surviving include her son, Neal Shealy; daughters, Kimberlyn Ariail (Keith) and Tamra McCormack (Brian); 3 grandchildren, Alex Shealy (Carrie), Ashelyn Ariail, and Shealy McCormack.

She was predeceased by her husband, C. Bruce Shealy; a brother, Gene Black; and a daughter-in-law, Shirley S. Shealy; and a grandson, Sydney Shealy.
