Marjorie Lindler Leaphart

Marjorie Lindler Leaphart, 89, of Leesville, passed away on Saturday, June 20, 2026. Born on September 1, 1936 in Lexington County, South Carolina, she was a daughter of the late Tommie L. and Lucy Keisler Lindler. Mrs. Leaphart worked as a registered nurse at Providence Hospital for 21 years. She was valedictorian at the South Carolina Baptist Hospital College for Nurses, class of 1962. Mrs. Leaphart was also a member of Grace Lutheran Church.

Marjorie is survived by her son, Preston Alan Leaphart, daughter, Sheina L. Beaver (Brett), brother; Robert Lindler (Doris), sister; Louise Miller, sister-in-law; Snookie Lindler, as well as eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her parents, her husband; Colie Voight Leaphart, brother, Murray Lindler, daughter-in-law, Brenda Leaphart, and brother-in-law, David Miller.

A memorial service will be held at Grace Lutheran Church, Wednesday, June 24th, 2026 at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Luke Swanson officiating. A visitation will follow the service. In lieu of flowers the family asks for donations to be given to Grace Lutheran Church at 401 Main St. Gilbert, SC 29054. Barr-Price Funeral Home and Crematorium, Historic Batesburg-Leesville Chapel is assisting the Leaphart family with arrangements.
