It is with profound sorrow that we announce the passing of Marilyn Beckum on October 12, 2025. Marilyn was a devoted mother, sister, daughter and friend. Marilyn loved the beach, going to the mountains, picking apples, dancing, flowers, cooking and decorating. She was an excellent homemaker. Marilyn had a way of making people comfortable and feeling welcomed. She enjoyed entertaining and celebrating special occassions. Her Halloween parties were full of food, costumes, pumpkins, laughter and smiles.
Marilyn especially loved all her family. She will be missed very much. Marilyn is survived by her three sons, Brian, Devin and Colin Beckum; two granddaughters; her mother, June Quinn; her sister, Jean Garrison; and her brothers, Martin Quinn and John Quinn. She was predeceased by her father, Frank Quinn.
The memorial service to honor Marilyns life will be held on Friday, October 17, 2025 at 1:00 P.M. at Barr-Price Funeral Home, Lexington Chapel, 609 Northwood Rd, Lexington, SC 29072.
