Margaret Anderson Shealy

Funeral service for Margaret Anderson Shealy, 93, will be conducted 3:00 p.m. Thursday at Cedar Grove Lutheran Church with the Rev. Leon Rawl officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service in the fellowship hall. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Cedar Grove Lutheran Church, 1220 Cedar Grove Rd., Leesville SC 29070.  Barr-Price Funeral Home and Crematorium, Historic Batesburg-Leesville Chapel is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Shealy passed away Tuesday, October 28, 2025.  Born in Lexington County, she was a daughter of the late Bailey and Ammie Shealy Anderson. She was a member of Cedar Grove Lutheran Church, WELCA, the folding team, was a former Bible School/Sunday School teacher and retired from Lexington Sportswear.

Surviving are a daughter, Debbie  Shealy; son-in-law, Michael Duke (Teresa); sister, Lillian Kaminer; grandchildren, Kelli Vann (Kevin) and Jenny Estrem; great-grandchildren, Kaleb Vann, Mikah and Ember Estrem; numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Heber L. Shealy, daughter, Cathy Duke, grandson, Chris Duke, brothers, J.D., Clinton, Crosson, Danny and Franklin Anderson, sisters, Gladys Boatwright and Ona Ruth Langley. The family would also like to give a special thank you to Karyn Shealy for her loving care.
