Lynne Bryan Obituary

The family of Lynne Eugenia Bryan is deeply saddened to announce that she has closed her eyes and returned home to Jesus on March 17, 2026, at the age of 75. She was born on April 5, 1950, in Swansea, South Carolina, to Marion and Connie Neese.

She attended Swansea High School and worked for many years as a Legal Secretary before her retirement. She was married to her husband David for 30 years full of love, loss, ups, and downs but with undying love for each other and their family. Lynne will be remembered for her kindness, humor, and dedication to her family.

She was survived by her husband, David C. Bryan III; her daughters, Tammy Hughes (Robert), Kathy Vella, and Robin Simmons (Stephen); her grandchildren, Robert Allen Hughes, Danielle Nesbitt (Cory), Taylor Brophy (Kyle), Baylee Vella and Carlee Vella; her great-grandchildren, Jayden Nesbitt, Lila Nesbitt, Brooklyn Brophy, Elijah Brophy, Lydia Nesbitt, Grayson Brophy, Josiah Nesbitt, and Ruth Brophy; her siblings Dianne Lloyd (Jimmy Lee), Betty Jo Emery, and Mark Neese (Belinda).

She was predeceased by her parents, Marion and Connie Neese.

Visitation will be held at Barr-Price Funeral Home and Crematorium, Lexington Chapel from 4-6pm on Saturday, March 21, 2026. A graveside service will be held at Sardis Baptist Church at 3pm on Sunday, March 22, 2026. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that you make a donation to Saint Jude’s Children Hospital.
