Mrs. Lula Langford Glover, 73, of Batesburg passed away peacefully on Thursday, April 16, 2026. She was born on February 3, 1953 in Lexington County, South Carolina to the late Ernest Nick Langford and Hattie Mae Drafts. Lula worked in the textile industry where she retired from J.B. Martin Co and was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Batesburg.
Surviving are her husband, James Glover; sons, Steven Langford, Patrick Glover, Willie Glover, and Jeremiah Glover; daughter, Janie Glover; brother, Robert Drafts; grandchildren, Tiffany Langford, Calvin Hampton, Stephen Langford, Tiera Langford, Jon-Tavious Glover, Jonathan Glover, Andre Glover, Darius Glover, Mary Glover, and Cooper Lorick; great-grandchildren, Ethan Rodgers, Emerald Langford Leaphart, Carmelo Hampton, Khyler Hampton, Jordynn Leaphart, Khloe Merrit, and Micah Joseph. Lula was predeceased by her daughter, Capricia Hampton; brothers, Willie Drafts, Clinton Drafts, Ernest Langford, Cal Langford, and Charles Langford; sister, Eloise Gary; grandchildren, Ciera Rauch, Justin Gantt, and David Glover; and one great-grandchild.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, April 23, 2026 at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Batesburg. Burial will follow at the Bryant Family Cemetery in Leesville. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, April 22, 2026 from 3:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Barr-Price Funeral Home and Crematorium, Historic Batesburg-Leesville Chapel.
