Lucille Virginia Goff Smith, 84, of Cayce, South Carolina, passed away on Monday, July 14, 2025. Born in Blaney, South Carolina, she was the daughter of the late Wade Edward Goff, Sr. and Carrie Belle Medlin Goff. Lucille was a member of Harmony Baptist Church in Elgin and Columbia United Methodist Church. She graduated from Dentsville High School in 1962 and worked for Horseman Dolls Inc., Oxford Textile and Wal-Mart. She spent the last years of her life as a resident at NHC Healthcare, where she became a social butterfly.
She enjoyed spending time with her beau and surrounding herself with all who loved her. She was a fan of Elvis, a Bingo Queen and had a sense of humor that she acquired from her father. She loved all her family, church family and friends.
She is survived by her beau of 40 years, Ronald Price of Cayce; her children, Billy Wade Morris (Mattie) of Gaston, Jill Morris Riley (Douglas) of West Columbia, Debbie Rathbun (Ed) of West Columbia, Ron Price, (Joshua & Nathan); a granddaughter, Amanda Hitchcock (Swansea); siblings, Betty Stockman (Rick) and her sister-in-law, Irene Goff.
In addition to her parents, Lucille was predeceased by her first husband, Lewis Rufus Morris Jr., and her siblings, Juanita Hoglen, Avery Goff, James Goff and Wade Edward Goff, Jr.
Visitation will be held on July 17, 2025 at Barr-Price Funeral Home, Lexington Chapel, at 10:00 a.m. Services will follow at 11:00 a.m. Burial will be held at Southland Memorial Gardens immediately after services.
