Graveside service for Lowell Franklin Dixon, 84, will be held 1pm Friday, June 26, 2026 at Celestial Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. prior to the service at Barr-Price Funeral Home and Crematorium, Lexington Chapel.
Lowell was born in Crab Orchard, West Virginia, the son of the late John and Juanita Dixon.
Surviving are his two sons, Donnie Dixon and James (Jenni) Dixon; and a daughter, Loretta Skinner (Reggie). He was fortunate to have three step daughters, Linda Rice, Nancy Gates, Betty Ann Stinson as well as stepson, David Springfield. He has eight granddaughters; eight grandsons; fifteen great grandchildren; his sister, Norma Scott; and brothers, Roger Dixon, Darrell Dixon and Dennis Dixon.
