Lora Connelly Craps

Lora Vonise Connelly Craps, 68, of Leesville, South Carolina entered into eternal rest on February 18, 2026. She was born May 28, 1957 in Leesville, South Carolina. Lora loved her family, flowers and fur babies. She was a daughter of the late Willard Holmes Connelly and Neita Senn Connelly.

Lora was a woman of strong work ethic and deep devotion. She dedicated over 25 years of service to Union Switch & Signal before turning her lifelong love of flowers and plants into a vocation. As the owner of her own greenhouse, Lora's spirit of giving truly blossomed; she was known to give away more plants than she ever sold, believing that beauty was meant to be shared. Above all else, family was everything to Lora. Her life was defined by the love she poured into her home and the unwavering support she provided to those she held dear. 

Lora is survived by a family who adored her; children, Lori (Jamie) Gillian, David Craps and Matt (Missy) Craps; grandchildren, Brittany (Clay) Craps, Alex (Sarah) Gillian, Blake Craps, Courtney Craps, Azalea Craps, Vera Craps and Marshall Craps; great-grandchild, Edison; Her dear special friend, Jackie Rankin and many more. Lora is predeceased by siblings, Jack Whitman, Norma Harmon and Dale Drenten.

Memorial services will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Monday, February 23, 2026 at Barr-Price Funeral Home and Crematorium, Historic Batesburg-Leesville Chapel with Jamie Gillian officiating. The family will receive friends following the service.
