Aiken-Graveside service for Lola S. Sanders ,99, will be conducted 10:00 am Wednesday, October 6, 2021 at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends following the graveside service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church, 164 Mt. Pleasant Rd., Ridge Spring SC, 29129. Barr-Price Funeral Home and Crematorium, Historic B-L Chapel is assisting the family.
Mrs. Sanders passed away Sunday, October 3, 2021. Born in Cross, SC she was the daughter of the late George C. Sr. and Elizabeth R. Garrett Scott. She was the oldest member of Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church were she was a former GA and WMU leader. Mrs. Lola was also a former volunteer at Aiken Hospital and studied art at USC Aiken.
Surviving are sons, Fred Sanders and Richard (Joy) Sanders, and 2 great-grandchildren.
