In Loving Memory of Lois Corder Curtin
Born on November 27, 1934 in Monetta, South Carolina
Age 90 — Lexington, South Carolina
Passed peacefully on November 7, 2025
Lois Corder Curtin was the quiet strength at the center of her family — the listener, the comforter, the steady rock who held everyone close through every joy and every storm. Her heart was a gathering place, where love, laughter, and wisdom flowed freely.
To know Lois was to know grace, patience, and a love that asked for nothing in return. She was the mold that held her family together, the one everyone turned to for guidance, understanding, and peace. Her warmth filled every room, and her gentle spirit will forever echo in the hearts of those who loved her.
She now joins her beloved husband, Thomas Edward Curtin; her son, Wayne Curtin; her parents, Nick Cooner Corder Sr. and Hattie Rodgers Corder; sisters, Sara Hall (Charles) , Ruth Jones, Maggie Runkle (Terry), Mary Riggs(Gene); brother, Nick Corder Jr.; her grandson, Tyler Curtin, who were waiting to welcome her home.
Lois leaves behind a legacy of love in her children — Debbie Comizio (Jerry), Jacquelyn Curtin, and Tommy Curtin (Kathy) — and in her grandchildren — Allison Cook (Josh), Joseph Comizio, Christine Comizio (Trevor), Michael Comizio, Clayton Curtin (Tiffany), Shana Heath (Kyle), Taylor Curtin and Ashley Hamrick— along with 14 great-grandchildren who brought her endless joy.
Her story lives on in the laughter of her family, the kindness she inspired, and the memories that will forever warm the hearts of those who were blessed to call her theirs.
A private family service will be held in her honor, celebrating a life so beautifully lived and so deeply loved.
