Linda S. Lucas

Linda S. Lucas, 79, went to be with her Lord and Savior on July 28, 2026, surrounded by her three sons and family. She was born on September 9, 1946, in Birmingham, Alabama, and was the eldest daughter of the late Fletcher and Mildred Sanders. Linda was a devoted wife, loving mother, cherished grandmother, and proud great-grandmother whose faith and love for her family were the foundation of her life.

She is survived by her sons, Eddie Lucas (Lindy), Jamie Lucas, and Randy Lucas (Lacy); her grandchildren, Tanna Deese, Ashley Perry (Michael), Bennett Lucas, Ryan Lucas, and Nolan Lucas; her great-grandchildren, Kaylee Deese and Kairi Perry; and her brother, Edward Sanders.

She was predeceased by her beloved husband of 58 years, Carl E. Lucas.

The family will receive friends from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 1, 2026, at Barr-Price Funeral Home in Lexington, South Carolina. A funeral service will follow at 11:00 a.m. Burial will immediately follow at Southland Memorial Gardens in West Columbia, South Carolina. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Linda's honor to Hagee Ministries or the American Cancer Society.
