Lewis M Willis

The family of Lewis Milton Willis, 51, of Lexington are deeply saddened to announce his passing February 17th, 2026.

Born in Lexington County on December 28, 1974, Lewis had a passion for his art and a dream of having his own art gallery soon.

Lewis attended Gilbert School where he graduated in 1993 with honors. He also attended Lexington Technology Center studying electronic technology. He completed both and graduated at the top of his class with honors.

A wonderful son with the love of God in his heart, he leaves behind his mom, Sharon Joan Shealy Willis and his dad, Richard Willis. He also leaves his brothers, Timothy (Tim) M. Willis (Kim) and Randall S. Willis  (Heather); nieces, Hailee and Shelby; nephew, Owen; his son, Jayden Dawkins; and caregiver and partner, Linda Dawkins.

Lewis will be missed tremendously.

A memorial service will be held on Sunday March 1st at 2 p.m. at Barr Price Funeral Home and Crematorium, Lexington Chapel 609 Northwood Road, Lexington, SC 29072. The family will receive friends following the service at the funeral home.  

The family wishes to thank everyone for their continued prayers and taking time to visit Lewis and care for him. He had tremendous respect for everyone.
