Lenore Hammond

Lenore Hammond 67, passed away Saturday November 22, 2025. Born in Buffalo, NY, she was the daughter of the late Orley James Hammond and Lenette J. Hammond. Mrs. Lenore was a former waitress at Lizard Thicket and in her spare time enjoyed building Legos and Diamond art.

She is survived by her sons, Richard Barie and Jonathan Hayward; daughters, Kelly Hammond and Jolynn Flowers (Jacob); brothers, Jeff Hammond (Tammy) and Joel Hammond; sister, Leslie Harrington (AL); grandchildren, James Hammond, Lynnsay Hammond, Noah Morales, Jeremy Hammond, and Katelynn Hammond-Abreu.

Mrs. Lenore is predeceased by her husband Larry Read; and a brother, Jerry Hammond.

Barr-Price Funeral Home and Crematorium, Historic Batesburg-Leesville Chapel is assisting the family.
