Larry, 71, of West Columbia, South Carolina passed away on Friday, May 23, 2025. He was born on February 4, 1954 in Newberry, SC.

Larry was a graduate of Airport High School and was the owner of several businesses over the years. He served as a deacon and Sunday school teacher for many years at West Columbia Pentecostal Holiness Church. Larry loved talking to anyone that would listen, about anything, at any time. He loved the Gamecocks, telling jokes, and bringing home random things from his thrift store outings. His favorite thing was being a Poppy to his four beautiful granddaughters.

He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Brenda Jackson Beck; children, Aubrie Beck Beard (Rodney) and Amanda Beck Livingston (Paul); four granddaughters, Ava Grace Beard, Sophia Malin Beard, Emery Hayes Livingston, and Finley Sloane Livingston; and his furry companion, Otis.

He was predeceased by his birth mother, Margaret Gray Rowland and his adoptive parents, Johnny and Rachel Beck.

A visitation will be held at 12:00 pm on Tuesday, May 27, 2025 at LifeSprings Worship Center, 5630 Platt Springs Road, Lexington, SC 29073. A celebration of life will follow at 1:00 pm, with burial to take place at Southland Memorial Gardens.
